Ukraine and Lithuania Sign Defense Cooperation Memorandum

During the Defense Industry Forum held in Kyiv, Ukraine and Lithuania formalized their defense collaboration through the signing of a memorandum of understanding. Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda announced the agreement on X, as reported by Ukrinform.

President Nauseda highlighted the growing employment in the defense sector and emphasized the importance of high-tech and engineering advancements in developing modern battlefield solutions. He stated, “United efforts will lead to Ukraine’s victory!”

The memorandum, signed by the Lithuanian and Ukrainian confederations of industrialists, reflects a commitment to strengthen defense cooperation between the two nations. In his opening address, Nauseda underscored that Ukraine’s victory is “our only choice” and that partners must exhaust all efforts to ensure Ukraine's success.

Nauseda stressed that achieving victory necessitates mobilizing defense resources to equip troops on the front lines effectively. It also involves advancing new technologies, weapons, and innovative warfare methods to lead Ukraine to a decisive triumph.
