During a visit to Kyiv, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken reaffirmed Washington's support for Ukraine in its efforts to win the conflict against Russia and eventually join NATO.
Blinken recalled that the NATO summit in July declared Ukraine's path to membership as irreversible, although formal membership remains contingent on the agreement of all members and fulfillment of certain conditions. He highlighted the growth of Ukraine's defense industry, which has expanded six-fold over the past year, and its future potential on the global market.
