Finnish President Alexander Stubb has approved the decision to send additional defense equipment to Ukraine, following a government proposal. This marks the 25th military aid package from Helsinki, according to the Finnish Ministry of Defense.
The new package is valued at approximately €118 million, bringing Finland's total military assistance to Ukraine since the war began to €2.3 billion.
"The military situation in Ukraine remains serious. Finland, as promised, will continue to provide material support. Our message to our partners is clear: do not give up," said Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen.
Details regarding the contents, timing, and delivery methods of the aid have not been disclosed for security reasons.
