During his visit to Kyiv on Friday, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski announced that Poland is considering transferring MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine. This is a significant decision that could substantially bolster Ukraine's air force in their fight against the Russian aggressor. The transfer of MiG-29s would be another step in Poland's ongoing military support for Ukraine, directly impacting the course of the conflict.

Sikorski emphasized that Poland has already been involved in providing military equipment, citing the Polish PT-91 Twardy tanks, which took part in Ukraine’s offensive in the Kursk region. The minister also stressed that Poland stands with Ukraine for historical, political, and moral reasons. “Any decent person should stand with the victim, not support the aggressor,” he noted, expressing hope that Ukraine will one day become a part of a united Europe.
