Poland’s Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, emphasized Ukraine’s right to use Western-supplied weapons to defend itself against Russian war crimes, during a press conference with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Sikorski condemned Russia's attacks on civilian targets as war crimes and stressed the importance of Ukraine’s defense.

Both officials addressed concerns over Russia's hybrid warfare, including attacks on Poland’s border and violations of Polish airspace. Blinken reiterated the U.S. commitment to adapting its support for Ukraine and emphasized the collaboration with NATO to counter Russia’s aggression.

Sikorski also advocated for lifting restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range weapons, while calling for stronger measures against Russian assets. He highlighted the growing security and economic partnership between Poland and the U.S., especially in defense modernization efforts.
